Time Travel

So, some how, somewhere, we have gained a day. We arrived in Monterrey a day early. After such careful planning for the route back it turns out that we were wrong, but in a good way. WE now have two nights here instead of one. Muse is tomorrow, not today, the 16th that ocours on tomorrow, not today.

We will still arrive back in the District on the 19th. We still have no idea as to how we gained a day, but it happened. Unfourtaintly we realized this too late, but oh well, mow we have another day off from driving before we drive like madmen back to DC.

Oh yeah, we have a blog...

So its been a while since the last update. This time I will actually tell you what we have been up to instead of post pictures.

We have successfully driven to Cancun, via Canada and California, for a total of 11,000 miles. We still have to drive back too, so this trip is not yet close to being over.

Mexico has been a lot of fun, and we have seen a lot, everything from arid semi-abandoned mountain towns to one of the best surfing spots in the world (where, of course, we took surfing lessons dude).

I discovered the wonders of chocolate and cheese in Oaxaca, seen some beautiful colonial architecture in towns across Mexico, conquered Mexico City, explored Mayan and Aztec ruins and relaxed on the beach.

While on the road you tend to go insane, but not fully realize it until you invent games like Cow Cracking' (best not to ask). You also find out how much you are able to concentrate on one thing when your life depends on not driving off the winding road/hitting the oncoming bus in your lane/avoiding the washed out section of road.

And for all of you disbelievers, I did in fact cut my hair. It is shaved down to a Number 4 (and I did it myself, so you know the haircut is good).

So to sum it all up, we are in fact alive and well, although out mental health is questionable. We will be heading back to the District on the 13th of July, with a quick stopover in Monterrey to see MUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So long for now, their might be a few more updates later with pictures.
